Mr. Lockspeiser, a partner of the firm, focuses his practice on Workers' Compensation litigation. Mr. Lockspeier has practiced Workers' Compensation law throughout New Jersey since 1978 and has exlusively dedicated his practice to obtaining benefits for injured workers since joining Wysoker Glassner in 1988. He has extensive experience handling all areas of Workers' Compensation litigation, from severe traumatic injuries to complex occupational diseases.

 

Mr. Lockspeiser has successfully advocated for his clients in both the Appellate Division and the Supreme Court. Of note is the precedent setting New Jersey Supreme Court case of Earl v. Johnson & Johnson, 158 N.J. 155 (1999), where Mr. Lockspeiser secured benefits for his client's occupational pulmonary disease despite the Appellate Division's finding that his client's claim was barred by the two-year statute of limitations. Mr. Lockspieser successfully convinced the Supreme Court that his client was not aware of the extent of her permanent loss of respiratory function until 4 years after her diagnosis.

 

Mr. Lockspeiser began his career with the New Jersey Attorney General's Office in the Workers' Compensation division. In 1984, he joined the law firm of Carpenter, Bennett & Morrissey where his practice focused on Workers' Compensation defense.

 

Mr. Lockspeiser is a member of the NJ Bar Association and the Middlesex County Bar Association.
