Christopher M. (Chris) Joseph is a criminal defense attorney located in Lawrence, KS. Mr. Joseph represents individuals and businesses during the investigation and prosecution of criminal charges in federal and state courts. He also represents businesses and individuals in complex civil litigation, primarily in federal court. He leads the firm’s criminal defense, judicial conduct, and civil asset forfeiture practice groups. He has considerable experience and success representing federal criminal defendants.
Mr. Joseph received his juris doctorate in 2000 from the University of Kansas School of Law. While attending law school, he wrote for the Kansas Law Review and served as an Associate Editor. He was invited to membership in the Order of the Coif, a national honor society for law school graduates with exceptional academic achievement. Mr. Joseph graduated summa cum laude from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997.
