Craig was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 8, 1969, and received his primary education in the public schools of Jefferson County, Alabama.

Craig attended Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina on a football scholarship, and he received his undergraduate degree from that institution in 1992. While at Furman, Craig was a member of Furman’s 1988 Division 1-AA National Championship Football Team, and during his four-year career the Paladins captured the Southern Conference title in 1988, 1989, and 1990. Craig was also named to the All-Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll in 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1991.

Craig has practiced law along the Gulf Coast since his 1995 graduation from law school. He is an active member of the American, Florida, Alabama, Baldwin County, and Mobile County Bar Associations, and has represented both defendants and plaintiffs in all types of civil litigation, including construction defect, contract, products liability, personal injury, commercial tort, and property actions. Accordingly, he has extensive jury trial experience in both Alabama and Florida.

Craig has also undergone specialized training with regards to condominium law, and he is a frequent speaker at condominium owner symposiums at which he trains board members on the nuances of Alabama and Florida condominium law.

With regards to his condominium construction defect litigation experience, Craig is well-known for having handled some of the larger condominium construction defect cases in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fort Walton, Destin, and Panama City Beach.
