David Gonzalez has more than sixteen years of experience in California government advocacy and has represented clients before the California courts, legislature, and regulatory agencies. David has also provided counsel to clients regarding political campaigns and ballot initiatives. Prior to forming GGC, David served as Of Counsel for an international law firm, DLA Piper. Prior to DLA Piper, David was an attorney for Greenberg Traurig, Vice President of Legal and Regulatory Affairs for the California Association of Health Plans, and a Senior Policy Consultant to the California State Assembly Health Committee. David has advocated on behalf of clients in the areas of health care, energy and the environment, goods movement, education, workers compensation and consumer product regulation. David holds a Juris Doctorate from McGeorge School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Indiana University.
