Gregory Wenz has been an Associate Attorney at the Wenz Law Firm since August 2012. He received his Juris Doctor from Touro Law School in June 2012, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with special honors, including Faculty Fellow and Law Review. Greg was admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York in February 2013. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Suffolk County Bar Association and the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association and has been exclusively focusing on the areas of matrimonial and family law. Greg’s primary role at the Firm is litigation – court appearances, hearings and trials, preparing net worth affidavits, discovery demands and responses, issuing subpoenas and HIPAA releases – as well as legal research and calendar submissions for all client matters. Greg is very passionate about the law, civil procedure and evidentiary rules and is a skilled trial attorney. His experience includes numerous successful custody trials and complex divorce trials involving extensive documentary evidence and admissibility issues.
Besides practicing law, Gregory is involved in his community and enjoys many hobbies including surfing, ice hockey, snowboarding, fishing, mountain biking and golf. He resides in West Sayville with his wife and two sons.
Prior to attending law school, Greg was a Chemist at EcoTest Laboratories where he performed environmental testing for 11 years.
Greg is a 2001 graduate of SUNY Stony Brook where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and was a member of the Seawolves Ice Hockey Team.
