Gregory W. Johnson is a Denver area business and tax attorney who specializes in business transactions, employment matters for both employers and employees, and tax matters before the IRS and state taxing authorities.

 

Since joining the Colorado Bar in 1998, Greg has successfully represented hundreds of businesses and individuals in a variety of tax matters before the Internal Revenue Service to resolve tax liabilities, audits, and a variety of other tax collection disputes. Greg has also provided legal guidance and planning during every life-cycle for businesses from formation to mergers to dissolution (i.e. contract negotiations, non-compete and confidentiality agreements, partnership and licensing agreements, and business and commercial transactions). Further, Greg has substantial experience in providing counsel to clients regarding a full range of personnel and workplace issues, including hiring and firing practices, primarily on behalf of employers.

 

Mr. Johnson received his undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, and his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law. Greg is admitted to practice in front of the Colorado state courts, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals. Greg lives in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and in his free time enjoys mountain biking, hiking, camping and yoga. Greg is also a founding member and on the Board of Directors for the Playing for Change Foundation, which builds music and arts schools around the world.
