Matt Dubois founded one of Maine's first cannabis law firms in 2015 to protect the rights of Maine medical marijuana patients, caregivers, and licensed cannabis businesses. He assists clients with all aspects of Maine's medical and adult use marijuana laws, including licensing, business formation and operation, compliance, and representation before state agencies and courts. He is an advocate for clear laws and rules that patients and cannabis businesses can follow without unnecessary risk of criminal liability.
Raised in Maine, Matt obtained his Bachelor's degree in English from SUNY Geneseo, where he met his wife, Mary Ann. Matt graduated cum laude from Buffalo School of Law in 2013, where he edited the Buffalo Environmental Law Journal. He lives near Bangor, Maine with his wife, son, and dog, and enjoys hiking, running, kayaking, and camping.
